Monday

Monday
As my eyes undo I  wipe the fairy dust out of my eyes,  I see my beautiful net around my bed. Mum is waking  me up with a sweet song. She opens the curtains, I see nothing but fog  and dew .  I slowly get out of my warm bed into the freezing cold  air, Jack frost has already got to me. Faith is banging bowls and spoons  in the kitchen making her weet-Bix and the toaster pops for me as I walk down the hall.

I splash cold water on my face to wake me up, man it is cold. I take off my slippers after getting into my uniform. NO stockings to keep my legs warm with my short skirt. I look at the clock. It's almost time to go. I do my hair in a bun, wash my face. I can’t find my my sneakers and I run outside in my socks to find them. Then I do find them.

I went to go get the mail. I saw the car, it had an amazing pattern of frost and a cobweb was magical  with dew on it. I hop in the car and mum and Faith are chatting all the way to school and I am too interested in the frost and dew and the sheep and cows!

    It must have been cold.
Does splashing water on your face really wake you up?
It is nice how your mum wakes you up by singing a song.
